Agreed, but didn't Trump say he was going to release them? I know he told all kind of lies but this is a matter of national security to see if this man is compromised by Russian interests, and looking at his tax returns (in private) would be the logical thing to do. But that wouldn't look good for the GOP, and we know they don't care about national security anyway.
I'm reasonably sure that the people in charge of protecting our national security have seen his tax returns a long time ago. They probably know what he ate for breakfast on June 17, 1999.
Yeah, he promised to release them after the audit. Anyone who fell for that, then, deserves the feeling they are having now that he is not living up to it.
I think those returns are a national security issue.
They are just not ready to cut the birther-in-chief loose yet, but it's so obvious that they know that his tax returns hold some type of incriminating evidence.
I think they are just trying to force the issue, I would like to see his returns but congress is over stepping it's bounds. If he accepted money from a foreign power it will come out in the intelligence investigation but I have to wonder if some congressman go a tip that there was something damaging in his return.
