Charles Rangel was caught cheating on his taxes. The Dems gave a collective shrug of their shoulders and Rangel got a mild rebuke. Now suddenly the dems care about tax returns.

The main reason I want to see his tax returns is that he refuses to divulge them. Makes me wonder what he is hiding.

We might see that he used various gimmicks to avoid paying taxes. We might see that he gave a very low percentage of his income to charity. Neither of those would be earth-shaking; we already know that about him.

No, there must be something far worse than that in those returns. And BTW, he has never produced any evidence that he is under audit.

I know the Left is insane and has an obsession/hatred for Trump but what exactly do you guys think will be on those returns?

Massive fraud? Plain direct connections with Russia?

The man is a billionaire. All his legal and illegal dealings over the years are buried in the crony capitalist machine.

The government gets lucky once with Al Capone and everyone thinks that's how it's done.

Do you guys know how long the Feds chased Bernie Madoff? Decades. The SEC claims he was running his Ponzi scheme since the 70s and they only caught up with him until the mid 2000s.

This isn't the tv show Cops. Trump doesn't have a bag of crack, a pipe, and a glock on his person walking around the White House.

You don't get to be a billionaire and PUSA in this day and age (or any day and age for that matter) without being a smart criminal.

No, they want to know what he's hiding.

Time to dump the Gas Oil Party. These guys are not interested in protecting the country. Only protecting their pockets.

Exactly, all of this. Especially coming from a man that spent years trying to get someone to produce a birth certificate.

Typical media spin to make Trump look bad.

Of course he can release them if he wants to. He doesn't need the IRS's permission even if he is under audit to release his own tax returns. Why was that question even asked? The media knows that.

His point was why should he release them for people to pick apart when until any audit is complete there is no final return?

See how the media spins you?
