Black women aren't the only demographic served by PP. Are abortion rates the same among all other demographics? Whites? Hispanics? Asians? Other?
No.
Quote:
An African-American woman is almost five times likelier to have an abortion than a white woman, and a Latina more than twice as likely, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Black women didn't have more abortions before PP's abortion facilities existed.
Since PP provides both contraception and abortion services, why are Black women opting for the greater health risk and higher cost of abortion (rather than the safer and less costly use of contraception) at a higher rate than any other racial/ethnic group?
Poor black women didn't have access to hospitals in the 1950's so no one can accurately assess how many abortions were done prior to legalization.

That doesn't answer the question...

You stated that black women didn't have abortions in such high numbers before PP?
Why they black and Puerto Rican women have a greater percentage of abortions present day is a different discussion.

I asked:

Can you answer the question?
This was what you stated.

Again, look at the childhood poverty rates by race/ethnicity. Poor rural Whites that have no PP anywhere near them for miles and miles bear fewer children into poverty than the poor urban minorities (which PP specifically targets) that have much easier access to contraception services and abortions. Why is that?
Another important part of the explanation for changing birth patterns is that minority populations are younger than whites, so are more likely to be having and raising children. There are notable differences by race and ethnic group in median age, the age at which half a group is younger and half older. The national median age in 2011 was 37.3.
What I stated is true. Subsequently, this is what I aked:

To attempt an answer there are other questions that need to be asked:
1. Why are the rates among all demographics different? Singling out one implies comparison. So 'why is there disparity at all' seems to be the first logical question.
2. What does Planned Parenthood have to do with the rates? To answer that you'd have to look at rates before and after communities had increased access to contraception and abortion.
3. If you're going to label abortions as "negative results" you need to compare that to the other negative results women experienced before they had access to contraception and abortions through organizations such as PP.
