That Republicans "won the battle but lost the war"

That Democrats are favored in the future

True or false?

One battle, in a long and poorly fought "war" against the establishment/progressive federal bureaucracy. I am hoping this is the beginning of the people of this great country waking up and seeing what they are about to lose. Namely, freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. God Bless Donald Trump.

False! Republicans have the presidency, Senate, the house of reps, more governorships in states, etc.
Looks to me that it is the Dems are on their "last gasp."

Should have added a poll. Anyways, I vote true. I bet in 15 years, all the gains the Rethuglican's have made flip around

Not sure about where Republicans are. But Democrats are going to reach bottom by 2018 if not in 2016. Then it is only upwards from there.

I would suggest it's false, the Democrats have slowly abandoned the middle class in favor of many fringe groups, minorities etc. They have shifted very much to the left and considering the leadership choices they are making I don't see them changing course. They are losing the middle ground and without a shift to the right will continue to lose it. They are left with many people that have a lot of different views and what direction they need to go. I don't see how they coalesce.

If the economy begins to move over the next two years, there is an equitable fix for Ocare and the Republican can manage to not make the same mistakes the Democrats did in 2009 by driving an over the the top agenda it's all over.... I think they are very conscious of what happened in 2010 so I doubt they will make that mistake.

If C-D would make a mandatory minimum age and a competency test for all posters, we wouldn't have to read such total garbage.
