Transgender rights has just moved too fast, and the various associated issues (shower rooms in particular) have not been properly debated yet. The Trans community and their supporters have been unrealistic as concerns how fast they wanted this to move, and wanting it to move forward without the issues having been sorted out.

For me, I don't care about bathrooms. The only change that represents is folks are now more aware it is happening. They just didn't know before because most of us were unaware there was even such a thing as transgenderism.

Shower rooms are a problem and thus far there have not been any realistic solutions put forth.

The truth is people need to become comfortable with their healthy bodies and medical intervention of this sort isn't reasonable. Some people may need to live their lives a particular way to deal with the crisis of their mind, but it's never going to be a normal, healthy state if it's artificially supported.
Easy to say that but you were born in the right body. We're not talking about say tomboy girls or some butch lesbian, here. We are talking about people who are mentally thinking they are born in the wrong body. To think one has to "accept it" is juvenile. It would likely be another thing in some 50 years, many people will wonder why we even allowed that.
