I agree. I tend to favor states' rights, whether it's about gun rights, cannabis, bathroom laws, etc.

What difference does it make? If legal pot stores are closed, kids will simply go to their friendly street peddlers of drugs, much to their delight.

No, it's not as physically addictive as booze, crack, or heroin; however, it is in fact incredibly habit forming. Nobody would smoke their paycheck away to get it if it wasn't.

I remember when my attitude toward pot was like yours. That all ended when I finally grew up and realized that I was full of ****and merely justifying my addiction.

I have absolutely no problem with legalized marijuana, but to say that it's not addictive is beyond retarded with the amount of evidence that exists in society.

A drug is a drug is a drug....Class dismissed
There are a lot of habit forming things. Hell working out and running releases endorphin that are extremely addicting -- I'm addicted to them and if I go more than a day without running, I physically get withdraw symptoms

No, I mean if legal pot stores are closed, the cops can persecute a kid for a joint and potentially ruin their lives. If legal pot ruins someone's life, that person is a dumbass.

And Melissa McCarthy...I mean Sean Spicer claims they are doing this to fight opioid addiction
Are there Federal laws on abortion, homosexuality, crack and heroin? Then if there are Federal laws on marijuana I guess they must be enforced. Or are you a proponent of state laws or something?

Possession of pot is decriminalized in a number of states. All you'll get is a ticket, no felony charge.

On my very first ballot I voted to legalize marijuana. I think it was prop 19 on the California ballot in 1972.

With all the other BS out there that is deadly, and legal, cannabis is hardly a threat. Legalize.

Just say no. Pretty simple. Don't be in possession of marijuana and you have nothing to worry about. Society must be protected from all the gangsters smoking marijuana and carrying out homicides and robberies.

If there are Federal laws (Federal laws always overide state laws and state democratically voted in will of the people) then like Federal laws protecting abortion, incarcerating heroin addicts, forcing states into gay marriage, then Federal laws against marijuana possession must be enforced.

So, cry me a river of tears. If some kid or adult gets a criminal record for smoking marijuana that is their fault.
