Nobody should trust a single word that drips from his slimy mouth, and while partisan Trumpets want to pretend that somehow this speech means their idiot in chief is doing a good job, reality speaks differently. Let's instead look at what Trump has done so far:
  • Filled his administration with a horde of corrupt Wall Street fat-cats and cronies. You know, the very type of people he claims he will fight against. Oh, and he appointed a white supremacist / Neo-Nazi (Bannon) as basically the head of national security. Yeah, and we're to believe bigotry doesn't motivate Trump or his loudest fans.
  • Made housing more expensive by eliminating a reduction in the FHA insurance for loans
  • Reduced civil rights for minorities by eliminating the transgender bathroom laws
  • Slapped together an ill-conceived and unconstitutional travel ban that was clearly meant to target Muslims, as well as hating the poor. Because, you know, hating people who are different and escaping hardship is very "American" and "Christian."
  • Created job losses via a Federal hiring freeze and gutting of various regulatory groups
  • Reduced worker and consumer protections via various rollbacks of regulation
  • Promised to squander US tax-payer money on an absurd monument to himself - "The Wall" - which will accomplish exactly nothing
  • Promised to make healthcare less affordable and perhaps impossible to obtain for those with pre-existing conditions by gutting the Affordable Care Act.
Not a single action this buffoon has taken so far is in any way good for America. People by now should be smart enough to realize what Trump is really about, and any short-lived bump in "optimism" after his fork-tongued speech will dissipate the moment Trump takes his next bigoted, stupid, or corporate boot-licking act.
LMAO! ^^^ triggered ^^^

FINALLY

A major politician (Trump) recommended immigration based on merit. Why the heck haven't we been doing this? Let's bring in the engineers, computer scientists, etc. from China, India, etc. into this country-----augment it with obviously hard working Latinos---and let them show us who works the hardest------and we have a winning formula!

Trump believes in negotiating from a position of power. With immigration, the USA has what the immigrants want, so why shouldn't we accept the ones who would most benefit our country?

Trump is the first common sense President maybe in my lifetime.

And, just like Donald Trump needs to grow up, so do his followers. Time to start concentrating on IMPORTANT issues and stop throwing out irrelevant nonsense just for the fun of it. Just like Trump would gain some respect, so would his flock.

I think you summed it up here. Doesn't matter what Trump does, you will be against him.

Pelosi and crew will not give up until they are given a resounding defeat in 2018. Then it will be like rats fleeing the sinking ship.

Wow, didn't think all these people would ever agree on anything. Can we say Trump the unifier now?

"President Trump received praise from both sides of the aisle after he gave his first speech to Congress on Capitol Hill Tuesday night. After the president outlined his goals in an optimistic tone, journalist and pundits alike had to give it to him — he stayed on message."

Isn't this the same man that Criticized President Obama and everyone else for Using a Teleprompter ?

Trump and the teleprompter: A brief history
'We should outlaw teleprompters … for anybody running for president,' says Trump, who has "NOW" adopted the technology.

The best line in his speech was "We are all made by the Same God". If he can hold up to that statement and respect everyone under that premise. Then, make the changes that he needs to make in removing the people from around himself who promote an otherwise concept.

I've written much over the years about the need for America to Respect America, in those writing I talk about American needs to be a strong nation, in order to be a leader of the global sphere of nations.
  • We need to get past the "Seek a Slave on Foreign Soil", and banish that greed driven concept.
  • I've written about the necessity for America to produce at least 40% of what it Consumes.
  • If we believe the truth that "Industry Builds Nations" then it is equally true, the loss of Industry brings down nations".
  • I think Trade is very important, because each nation is capable of doing unique and interesting things and we need to support the fact that all nations need to employee their people and its good when the works of nations are shared by other nations. But all nations, need to work toward a standard, and I'd say that standard is, work toward the goal of at least producing and maintaining the production of 40% of what is consumed as best as possible.
  • I am not for Taking away Two Regulations for Every New One created. (It's Illogical and Anti Regulatory)
  • We are a great nation because of our Constitution and the stand for Democracy and we must maintain a Regulatory Governance System to support the basis of both our Constitution and the principles of Democracy.
  • No, we should not foot the bill for every other nations military needs, but we should not push any idea that we will be less than supportive if they can't pay their due to NATO at this given time in History. But, they must pay or do what they can to be a contributing member, its the nature of NATO's duty.
  • We must learn in America to Respect Legacy, and stop selling anything and everything for the sake of short term gains that benefit only a few. I wrote a piece that talked about the Insult to this Nation for Companies Like "SEAR'S" who practically built the concept of Big Marketing Stores and Catalog Sales was the same as what Internet Sales is in this Day. How did University groomed madness, miss that understanding. When we let such "anchor brands fall", we fall as a nation.
  • 1980's, 1990's and early 2000's, American's Automotive Companies simply fell off the regard for quality, and by late 2007 were at the brink of collapse from Greed !!!! Egotist Riding on Past Glory, and Outsourcing that eroded the domestic parts infrastructure of car building. Why did we fail then, at holding the Executives Accountable? Instead we kept paying these people 10's of Millions a year and giving them stock options for doing nothing but producing failure and destroying American Jobs. We allowed Wall Street to become a "Casino Game", and lost awareness that the Stock Market was Created so people could support Industry, its development and its sustainability and invest for the long term in doing so; not as some game of expect to break a record every other day. It was never designed for the madness of the derivatives games and the other undermining tactical practices that have become entire paper shuffling, gambling bets that result create nothing but Pyramid Mazes of Greed Gouging and erosion of Industry and Businesses.

I don't know which direction Trump is going, because he changes course far too often, I don't think distributing funds that weaken Public Schools is the best of Ideas. I don't think Privatizing anything that the Government has as a historical function is Good in any Respects. I am not an advocate of the greed of what results in Government Functions being Outsourced to Privatizations.

I am certainly not an advocate of "giving the wealthy more tax breaks" !!!!! We know for a solid fact that Trickle Down DOES NOT WORK.... Why be duped again with the same worn out fleecing game.

I am for a level playing field, and the work it takes to make it exist in America; Poor whites, poor black and any group or ethnicity of poor people, should be afforded the same qualify standards in education, employment and legal fairness and the civil rights and human rights in the democratic system of America.

I think the Government has as much responsibility unto the people, as the people have unto the government. Which includes programs to help the people, and people doing what they can to help make better our systems of governance.

I don't care much for Anti-Government Types, nor those who have this "Shrink The Government" motivations, I do not care for the "Anti Regulatory Types" who think "anything should go if it makes profit"...

Without Regulatory Governance, the food we eat may well not be safe, the tools we use may not be safe and the environments we live may not be safe. It has taken a long history, a lot of science and a lot of hard work to develop and establish regulations, some to protect people the harms of others, and some to protect the people from what can be done by business upon and against people, and the many other things our systems has fought hard to establish for the better safety of society in person, habitat and the over all of civic and community environments.

I do not care for Terrorist in any way, whether they are domestic terrorist, driven by race, religion, or any other motive.

I think we as a nation, should have "A Civic Corp" that truly is National in Scope. Giving an Option to All Young People for a better future in building and sustaining a better America.

Now, what is the aim, the goal and the outworking of Trumps Speech, "None of us know", but what we do know is we cannot be lead by Extremism of Religiosity, Racial and Ethnic Divisiveness, Greed Chasing, Non-Regulatory Governance.

That is interesting because the official name is ACA. This had to **** off Obama, this was Obama's biggest legacy(at least top 5).

Also Trump said "Radical Islamic Terrorism".

Indeed. I was commenting on irrelevant nonsense of Democrat politicians wearing white because they'd rather focus on identity politics instead of working with the President to solve real IMPORTANT issues. It's clear these women are not having any of it.

BTW, Your indignation at me doesn't work as argument.
