If so what consequences should all the MSM outlets (NY Times etc) that reported that it happened face?

Maybe just maybe that's because the President of the United States simply does not have that much credibility. You know ... kind of like the boy who cried wolf.

Can you post the links please? I cannot find the NY Times report.

Also, if credible media outlets reported this, why did Trump claim in his tweet that he "just found out" about it?

Did tRump go too far this time with his lunatic tweeting?

Not with his "base."

They're drinking this up like purple kool-aid.

Except now they prefer red.

But is it red for Russia or red for the Republicans?

Is there a difference any more?

But it doesn't make sense. Trump is all about dismantling everything Obama did.

Though it would be such a relief to hear no-drama Obama address the nation again, if only for a short time, I suspect this would not be in Trump's best interest. Even Trump is smart enough to know that.

Trump is the POTUS. Why would he need to call for an investigation to obtain evidence of wire taps?

As POTUS, Trump has the authority to get this information directly from the FBI. Comey is his guy. Why would he withhold evidence?

Default Will Obama be prosecuted over the illegal wire taps?

Will Obama be prosecuted over the illegal wire taps, or will he escape justice?

There were two requests for surveillance prior to the election. Both were denied, yet Obama did it anyway.

What are the chances of him being charged?
