You know that no President can order wire taps on people, right? That's up to the FBI.
As for past behavior being an indicator of future behavior, Trump win in the dishonesty department, hands down.
If the Trump, and his administration has NOTHING to hide, or hide from, why do they act so sketchy? Where's the honesty, where's the transparency? Certainly Flynn didn't resign over fake news, nor Sessions recuse himself for no apparent reason.
Don't' you ever tire of all this nonsense?
Statements like yours above lead me to wonder how much you have been following this. It appears you haven't been. It is known that Obama did ask (didn't order, but asked) for a wire tap (surveillance). Turned down at first. But asked a second time. Was that second request granted? The answer appears to be "yes."
I'm talking about President's past behavior (advocating the overthrow of the U.S. Government) while a student at Occidental, and thereafter. His entire 2008 campaign was about "fundamentally transforming" the united States of America. I know what he meant by that, because I know what kind of activities he was involved in prior to launching his political career. He taught that our Constitution was a "flawed document," and he regularly spoke against American "colonialism," etc.
Flynn was not asked to resign because of any "Russian connection" or the conversation he had with the Russian ambassador. He was asked to resign because he had mislead Mike Pence, and for Trump, that was not acceptable. Trump demands openness and complete honesty. There was nothing wrong with Flynn having a conversation with the Russian ambassador.
The "nonsense" I tire of is this constant assertion by the Left (Democrats) that there is a "Russian connection" and that the Russians somehow influenced the election. That has not been proven, and if anything, the Russians would have wanted to help Clinton, NOT Trump, whom they know will be tough. Hillary, they could manipulate.
Lawmakers stunned, baffled by Trump’s wiretap allegations
All of the GOP house majority is up for re-election next year. A number of GOP senators are, also.
While they're going to prop up tRump in the short term while they try desperately to bulldoze through the least popular parts of their agenda, once that's done they're gonna drop tRump like a hot potato.
Actually, that's false. This anonymous "source" said she THINKS it could have happened. It's anonymous, it's speculative, and it's hearsay. Evidence it is certainly not.
All we have so far right wing outlets (heat, fox) talking about it and left wing media (CNN, Wapo, MSNBC) denying it for lack of evidence. Same as previous Russian connection allegations just roles got reversed. But former NSI guy denies it. He is definitely one of the important guy from Obama administration. That puts ball squarely in Trump team to provide some proof.
Just watched Martha Radditz' interview Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who presented herself as a Trump spokesperson.
Sanders said, "If it is," and “I think there certainly could have been and it sounds like there’s something that we should look into and verify,”
Strange.
She yammered on like Kellyanne Conway (bit easier to listen to, however), but oddly enough, sounded like there was doubt about whether what Trump had tweeted had actually happened.
