Exactly. I'm a Dutch-American, and move to the States when I was 30. Got sick and tired of the government taking 50% of my salary.

More like 30% and it's going down. Don't need the safety net, I'm taking care of my own safety. That's what America should be all about.

You better not apply for unemployment benefits, social security, medicare, medicaid, or anything related to that if you want to put your money where your mouth is. Let the free market screw with you a little bit and let's see how you react.
