A federal investigator who reviewed an FBI forensic report detailing the contents of DNC staffer Seth Rich’s computer generated within 96 hours after his murder, said Rich made contact with WikiLeaks through Gavin MacFadyen, a now-deceased American investigative reporter, documentary filmmaker, and director of WikiLeaks who was living in London at the time.

The revelation is consistent with the findings of Rod Wheeler, a former DC homicide detective and Fox News contributor and whose private investigation firm was hired by Rich’s family to probe the case. Rich was shot from behind in the wee hours, but was not robbed.

The Seth Rich story is potentially huge, but at this point it's just speculation. Many on the right desperately want it to be true so will believe it even though we have no hard evidence at this point. If Seth Rich was behind the DNC document leaks, that's huge. If Seth Rich was actually offed by someone in the Clinton camp, that's even bigger. Either of these would be a disaster for the Democrats, and so the leftist media won't cover it unless it blows up to the point that they have to. I'm willing to bet nothing comes out of any of this.

The media can obsessively cover any story they can concoct about about trump from fake dossiers with russian hookers and trump, trump and ice cream scandals, trump and Russian blackmail etc yet a story that is confirmed by numerous sources including julian assange, that a dnc staffer was an informant with wikileaks and he was murdered barely merits a mention today after these disclosures from rod wheeler?
Rod wheeler as well as a federal source has seen the emails between Wikileaks and seth rich, but the media doesnt seem to have any interest in this?

I am open minded just like the OP probably is. I realize there is real corruption and real scary stuff that happens, even in the high levels of politics, sometimes people just say that without really thinking about how real and crazy it is. But I think the news media is ignoring this story because although it does look suspicious, no one can doubt that, there is no real hard proof of high level foul play. And let us be honest, most people wouldn't care.
