Very true. and ten years from now you will not find many Trump supporters who admit having been trump supporters. Most will pretend they did not vote for him or did so only because of Hillary etc.
Right now they still believe Trump is at his heart one of them. It will not be until they directly feel the pain of his actions, the loss of a loved one, job , home etc. They are too invested in hurting others and being part of a clan. It gives them meaning, just like a religion.
This is a perfect example of the kind of mentality we are going to find when it comes to the people who support Trump. There might be nothing to this subject, but to just dismiss it with their usual, childish "I know I am but what are you" statement , shows that they are not capable of making rational decisions, and why they voted for Trump. They have blinders on and earplugs in place to any and all information.
There was some reason he excluded anyone but himself and the Russians last week, and it was not because he dislikes the American press. If nothing else, it shows his stupidity for creating a situation that looks bad.
Possibly he owes more money to the Russians than he can pay, so he gave them classified information instead. After all, he took the two Russians into the Oval Office at Putin's request.

I suspect all of Trump's wealth is from Russian investors and Russia owns Trump. Trump sang to the Russian visitors like a canary. We cannot do well as a country if our president has conflict of interests with other countries.

If Putin thinks this through a few steps further though it may end up looking like a disaster. Eventually the Trump spell will be broken and the US will treat Russia and it's interests with greater hostility than it otherwise would have. To those of us who haven't fallen under the spell, Putin's true nature has been revealed. This story may end with NATO bases moved from Germany to the Baltics and Poland and the west arming the Ukrainians.
