Please. Trump also ran on a platform of non-interventionalism.
The problem is once a politician "gets in" they ALWAYS bend towards the globalist/interventionalist powers that be.
Sanders is an undistinguished career politician from a state with less people than the county I live in. If you think he would have been "different," you are mistaken. He couldn't even stand up to the DNC. He would have easily buckled under the pressure of the entrenched interests.
Yup, pretty much. Americans can't see it though. If CNN says the sky is orange & was painted by Putin, the chumps will belive it.
Sanders is the worst kind of liar, he's pedling a lie that was used to destroy his election bid... smh... what a disgusting coward!

Why do you not mention the US companies whose business in many varied ways is war who also benefited from Iraq?
When are we going to learn, Get Out Of The ME! More involvement has not worked and if anything made it all worse, that will never change, pack up lock stock and barrel and get out already. Let those in the ME fight out among themselves, we can deal with the winners if there ever is one, if need be.

Trump has a far more well-documented history of lying yet when he says he painted the sky orange his 'faithful' line up to pat him on the back and tell him what a great painter he is.

No he didn't. He ran on the idea of not only killing the "terrorists" but also killing their families.

Still a fantastic idea, really. The Soviet way.
But yes yes, we know that would never fly. Because if you're mean to Islam, then people will be radicalized and become terrorists and commit terrorist acts that "have nothing to do with Islam."
You see they militarily are inferior, that's why they choose soft target rich environments.
Just like Vietnam you have locals who don't purge these scumbags from their cities towns and villages. So be it. Hide their weapons, build their IEDs etc... then cry foul because a drone strike nailed a civilian...
Logic would tell me, if I value what life I have, to either get out of dodge or deal with these scumbags myself or tell the troops where they and their caches are located so that they can do their job and get out.
But that's me...
We have no business attacking anyone over there anyway just like we had no business being in Vietnam either.
For the same reason you're still in Afghanistan: Your Geo-Political Strategy calls for the pacification of Syria and Iran.
Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama all did their part to further US Geo-Political Strategy, and now Trump will do the same.
If you don't like the US Geo-Political Strategy, then you have a bit of a problem, because it's formulated by Bureaucrats, not Presidents.
Good luck getting rid of the Bureaucrats.
Not the bureaucrats, the plutocrats.
