May 11, 2017 - NY Times article, "In a Private Dinner, Trump Demanded Loyalty. Comey Demurred."

It's obvious the source here is former FBI associates of Comey, not Comey himself nor his notes directly (although it's not clear if those associates had read the notes at this point or were just detailing things that Comey had told them, the wording in the article suggests it was based on FBI associates discussions with Comey).

May 12, 2017 - Tweet from President Trump in response to revelations in NY Times about Comey/Trump discussions:

May 16, 2017 - NY Times article, "Comey Memo Says Trump Asked Him to End Flynn Investigation"

It seems that Trump's statements spurred this release of more details, with a direct reading of notes from Comey's notes to the NY Times reporters (vs. just associates detailing things that they had been told by Comey).

You forgot:

May 10, 2017 - Comey sits down on his personal computer after his government issue laptop was confiscated and typed out notes of his meetings with Trump from memory.

Here is a Comey biography: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_...2.80.931993.29

Judge for yourselves.

By the way, notes made after a meeting are admissible as evidence.
As Comey said its the MSM who lied....

This doesn't pass the smell test. Too detailed and too damning even for the NYT to report unless they had concrete proof. You can bet the farm that every word was carefully selected/researched and cover put on to make it look like Comey was not directly involved -- when he likely was. A good investigator could get to the bottom of this if they let him.

What is your point...Trump didn't have the right to fire an employee?

So what? Wouldn't you as an employer want loyalty from you employees?

I guess by Comey testimony that he did indeed release/leak information to the press.

Not sure he actually ask Comey to end the investigation...he said he hoped Comey would finish the investigation.

What have you concluded by Comey testimony.....I concluded that Trump was right when he said he wasn't a part of any Russian investigation and Comey confirmed it.

This Comey testimony somehow seemed to help trump and even brought up Lynch as the one that possibly obstructed justice.
Yeah, go for it, it looks like trumps agenda is not the agenda of Congress, but hey if he actually has some ideas instead of just rhetoric it would be nice to see. So Congress blew it with their so-called replacement for ACA and the only people getting tax breaks are the rich so that thought is DOA.

If you think the testimony from Comey helped trump in any way you are not actually paying attention, if anything it vindicates the appointment of a Special Prosecutor to dig into the entire matter no matter where it leads.

The problem was not with firing Comey, had trump done that day 1 no one would have been surprised but the opposite occurred and from the looks of it trump did so only to attempt to end an investigation, which by the way has the opposite effect.

Yet you keep saying that you Trumplings should ignore the left, me thinks you cannot help yourself, just like your Golden Boy, you just have to open your mouth, how else would others see your genius.

What is that based on? Source?

He has said that he created records after conversations with Trump:
