You'll pay in ways which you may not see right now. All sorts of costs are going up, if this insanely conceived bill passes, and the states will have to pick up much of the slack for a sicker population. Those state funds will have to come from somewhere: would you prefer higher state taxes, or a decline in quality of roads, schools, libraries, parks, state universities, or some other state-funded service?

Just remember that there are millions of us out here who didn't vote for Trump, and have no access to group insurance, who are going to suffer right along with all the imbeciles who voted for the assh*le con man.

Not really, the bill isn't mean enough for Rand, Ted Cruz and Lee so all they have to do is promise to throw a few more people under the bus and they will vote yes. The ones I'm waiting for are Lisa Murkowski and Capito. Ordinarily I would expect Capito to vote for it, but she's gonna have some explaining to do if she votes to cut medicaid, 30% of families in WV receive their healthcare through it.

There are going to be a lot of people losing their employer provided health insurance too, employers are no longer required to provide health insurance in this bill - so my guess is the smaller, lower revenue earning businesses will axe employee healthcare as soon as this passes

But many of those who will suffer ARE children. Should they have to pay with their health, and in some cases, their very lives, for the bad judgment of adults?

To Trump supporters, poor sick children are not only deplorable, but along with the sick elderly population ...disposable! They are "takers" ...not "makers" and not part of Dear Leader's and the Repubes' plan for "no taxes" for the Wealthy!

Should they? No. I voted for HRC.

But, they will... that's what Trump supporters voted for. So, that's what will be.

We pay for your kids to go to school, for the roads you drive on, for fire and police services because that is the way societies work. And we help those who can't care for themselves, if you don't want to be part of a society like that, then maybe it's time to move somewhere that suits you better, like Somalia?
