Trump promised to " replace Obamacare with something that will take care of everyone and the government is going to pay for it".

Does this bill satisfy Trump's promise?

This bill, like the House Bill and the ACA, does nothing to reduce the cost of healthcare or impose a requirement for personal responsibility.

That projection assumed all states would expand Medicaid. It was a game changer when SCOTUS ruled expansion or not, was a state right. 19 states did not expand Medicaid. Of those that did not expand, 4 states are top ten in terms of population. Texas and Florida did not expand and are # 2 and 3 in terms of population.

Had all states expanded as was assumed, it's likely the 23 million projection would have been met, if not exceeded.

No telling.

The number of ways to opt out of the mandate was very generous.

How many more would have been insured if all states had expanded Medicaid?

lol you just can't make this stuff up, Trump gave you all the most conservative economist he could find to run the CBO and you are still whining about the results

More than 15% of the population is enrolled in Medicare and it's growing by 10,000 people a day. It has been projected 79 million will become enrolled in Medicare by 2030.

That's fine with me.

Why should I pay their way?

Your first reply to me made no sense, and you're still not making any sense.

But have fun arguing with that imaginary person in your head.

Whatever turns you on.
