This is a telling poll as are some of the others.

My neighbors knew about my volunteering during election last year. One came up and wanted to know if a lot of people are regretting their vote. Based on the polls coming out, it looks like a lot feel they made a mistake in 2016.

Trump had a small strong base but many were swing voters, and Democrats frustrated with no jobs.

I predict (without any great authority but none of have that anyways -- lol) that those folks may not be loyal to Trump unless we see a dramatic upswing in their part of the country in the economy.

Don't forget -- stock market is doing great and that bodes well but not for those people who voted for Trump out of frustration and needing a job. Strong market means nothing. It isn't the simple days where an Apple Stock increase meant Apple would then invest in more capital and expand. Apple has been hoarding their wealth for years -- makes for a good strong stock but does nothing for that guy in Ohio who voted for a job.

Same with the job increase. It is true the coal workers may be happy for now but it demand doesn't increase soon, there will be layoffs there. And I know that the economy was booming in my area before Trump and it still seems to be -- everyone here isn't likely to change their vote because it is the same as before.

Trump was well respected until he ran for president, and the liberal media started to spread fake news about him.

Trump was never widely respected. He is a caricature of what some men percieve as having the ideal lifestyle.

Caricatures obviously do not make good world leaders.

Not if you've been paying attention. There's a reason Trump lost to Kasich in the primaries in Manhattan, even though Kasich was already mathematically eliminated. The people who know Trump best, know he's an opportunist who can't be trusted.
