Why didn't you or the article mention that?
There were two polls and they were mentioned.

Why do you keep refusing to acknowledge? i.e. 3/4ths of Americans are with Trump on this matter.

There lies the difference between you and me. I don't accept America's warts. I have a problem with those warts and getting rid of them will make America a better place. Standing up against injustice does not make one unpatriotic.

You certainly never mentioned that the poll was in 2016.
The article written today does not mention that the poll was in 2016
Why?
Why do you ask for a response from me, but won't answer?

We "leftists" do not hate America. We want to make things better. This president has further divided the people and just doesn't even care.

Certainly you don't need me to give you permission to tell us if you think those polls would be the same today.

I'm guessing you don't want to give answer, because it simply validates what I said.

i.e. It doesn't matter that the poll was 2016.

And that's why I didn't mention it, nor tried to hide it.

Nah.

It was a small handful of unpatriotic multi-millionaires who decided to take an American past time, and turn it into a political statement. Football brought people together until they decided to do that.

Trump, like most other Americans, simply stated about how he felt at what they did to ruin the sport experience.

No he has actually started a conversation with a profoundly lost and dysfunctional cultural paradigm.
