He's got nothing, talking out of his rear and fabricating things that didn't exist

Comment on Facebook - “The NFL’s ratings are dropping faster than Bill Clinton’s pants in a trailer park.”

I dunno...I'm not sure there's anything that fast.

Not at all. I am just observing that the only time these guys seem to protest is when the national anthem is playing. They can protest in many many other places and times of their choosing but they don't. Don't you think it is a rather odd coincidence? Makes me think the protest has something to do with the American flag.

Oh lecture not heathen. My understanding is that the socks either in writing or symbolically represented killing cops. Do I stand corrected?

Since Ferguson the black narrative has focused on unlawful shootings of black men. It's not accurate but they sadly want to convince the citizens that it is.... and influence the country.

Trump is having none of it. So he takes a full throated swipe at players 70% black who refuse to honor the USA. Many of them don't care, know what they're doing. They just want to play a game they love. But Trump IS the POTUS and to fight back against the black narrative. So, he INSULTS the players...and lo and behold GUESS WHAT??

Now....people are almost universally opposed to the players actions. Guess who wins?

This is not about protest and who gets to. We all can.

It's about Trump returning the USA to unity BY SHAMING THEM into compliance. That's use of power folks.

Smart as a Fox.
You say "it's not accurate" & yet ... no evidence. How unusual. & yeah, I get the 'hero worshipping' & appeal to emotion & fear, Argumentum Ad Nauseam, & so on.

Why not take a look at some evidence:

Quote:
...The department found that the FPD has a pattern or practice of:
  • Conducting stops without reasonable suspicion and arrests without probable cause in violation of the Fourth Amendment;
  • Interfering with the right to free expression in violation of the First Amendment; and
  • Using unreasonable force in violation of the Fourth Amendment.

The department found that Ferguson Municipal Court has a pattern or practice of:
  • Focusing on revenue over public safety, leading to court practices that violate the 14th Amendment’s due process and equal protection requirements.
  • Court practices exacerbating the harm of Ferguson’s unconstitutional police practices and imposing particular hardship upon Ferguson’s most vulnerable residents, especially upon those living in or near poverty.Minor offenses can generate crippling debts, result in jail time because of an inability to pay and result in the loss of a driver’s license, employment, or housing.

The department found a pattern or practice of racial bias in both the FPD and municipal court:
  • The harms of Ferguson’s police and court practices are borne disproportionately by African Americans and that this disproportionate impact is avoidable.
  • Ferguson’s harmful court and police practices are due, at least in part, to intentional discrimination, as demonstrated by direct evidence of racial bias and stereotyping about African Americans by certain Ferguson police and municipal court officials.

Obviously, you don't watch football since this started last season before Trump was elected. Do you even know why Kaepernick started kneeling. Or are you just listening to Trump and his lies without a clue what this is really all about.

Just admit that you just don't want to talk about that issue ever. All yall can do is constantly say "now is not the time". It's been a few hundred years, can't sit around waiting on white supremacists to get it out of their systems.
On the contrary, I read a lot but I don't see the articles these guys write for papers or magazines presenting their case. I listen to the radio and watch certain talk shows but few of them are to be seen or heard anywhere. Not a lot of analysis or insight can be discerned when the protest consists of taking a knee when the anthem is played.

That said, their ignoring of black on black crime, of the utterly dysfunctional inner city black culture, and of the hate & violence promulgated by BLM is part of why it is hard to take them seriously.

Justice Department Files Lawsuit to Bring Constitutional Policing to Ferguson, Missouri

Quote:
...Today, the Department of Justice is filing a lawsuit against the city of Ferguson, Missouri, alleging a pattern or practice of law enforcement conduct that violates the Constitution and federal civil rights laws,” said Attorney General Lynch. “The residents of Ferguson have waited nearly a year for their city to adopt an agreement that would protect their rights and keep them safe. They have waited nearly a year for their police department to accept rules that would ensure their constitutional rights and that thousands of other police departments follow every day. They have waited nearly a year for their municipal courts to commit to basic, reasonable rules and standards. But residents of Ferguson have suffered the deprivation of their constitutional rights – the rights guaranteed to all Americans – for decades. They have waited decades for justice. They should not be forced to wait any longer.” ...
