Lots of people were allowed in who would not be allowed now. And that's as it should be.

But your statement is proof that the CNN reported accomplished his task. He wanted people to believe that Trump The Evil would ban all non-English speakers from America.
And you do.

We can demand that immigrants that want to come here can speak and read BASIC English and have some skills so they won't be a burden on the taxpayers. ....I don't understand the big deal by the media and liberals.

Just to drive our roads, streets and highways you have to read basic English to read our road signs and hazard and warning signs that's just an example.

Acosta was stupid and got his head handed to him by Stephen Miller. Fun to watch, end of story. Acosta is doing this to himself.

Just goes to show how uninformed CNN is.
English is a second language for most in India, not first. and even then, only 12% of their population speaks it.

" he is not reporting the news. He is interjecting his personal opinion on immigration."

I would disagree.

IMO, he IS interjecting HIS STATIONS opinion on immigration.

You do realize that when they are in the press briefing asking questions, they aren't presenting the news so they may ask questions with a bias or slant to get a reaction, answer, explanation.

You do know that right?

I took the read, write and speak basic English test.

It is very simple. They ask you to read a sentence and then to write a sentence.

Anybody else here been through the process?

Is that clear enough for ya dog? Do you get it, because clearly it went right over Miller's head, by a mile.

It must be hard for smart folk like acosta when talking to mental dullards like Miller. Miller did not understand that only in countries where english is the first language can the entire pop meet the bar, for most countries the vast majority don't have english or enough spoken english to pass . (only about 10% of indians speak english thus about 90% are ruled out instantly)

thus just a handful of countries would meet the bar. Acosta does not get twenty mins to list the countries so instead he picked the obvious ones that everyone would know, and Millers feigned shock was childish and while it might play well to racists at least 70% of the pop are not buying it.

Actually, it flew right over your head....

Acosta is supposed to be a REPORTER not an opinion jockey. He's not supposed to offer his opinion on anything. The White House should pull his White House credentials.
