If Russia was blackmailing Trump, then wouldn't it stand to reason that the Trump properties would have been sold for LESS than market value? Not more.
The Trump-Russian real estate transactions are allegedly a money-laundering scheme. As such, it makes perfect sense that the Russians paid a premium for those properties - no criminal launders dirty money at par value, there's no profit if there's no premium.

Exactly right. Overpayment for real estate is a red flag for money laundering, especially if the buyer, seller or both used shell company(s).
The top two industries used by money launderers are high end real estate and casinos -- the same two industries Trump was involved in. I'm sure that's just a coincidence (cough, cough).
In 2008 when real estate prices were tanking, Dmitry Rybolovlev, another Bank of Cyprus investor, paid Trump $95 million for a mansion Trump had paid $42 million for. Few years later, he tore it down and sold the land.
The media and their leftist allies did their best, I have to give them credit.
They worked extremely hard at convincing everyone that the election was stolen away from Hillary.
The only problem was, there really wasn't any truth to it. Sure, there were a few meetings here and there. But there was nothing ever proven that Trump or his people did anything illegal.
There was no evidence that anyone's vote was ever changed from Hillary to Trump.....as anyone with common sense could have told you.
So here we are, 7 months into Trump's presidency.
What will they think up next?
Ironically enough, you just demonstrated why many of the criticisms against Hillary were b*******. They kept spamming the Benghazi and email cards, but once the election was done, there was no more mention of this. They got what they wanted. No status updates on how the investigations were going. Furthermore, Trump and family did use private email accounts to conduct government business, so it does seem like politicians do have something in common after all

The investigation to impeach Nixon took one year to conduct. This isn't like an episode of Law & Order where everything that's going to happen will get wrapped up in one sitting.
The bathroom bill makes NC look like a bunch of witless rednecks instead of the progressive southern state it was working at.
many of us hate the idea that NC was becoming a southern progressive state, I know I dislike that notion, that stuff is better off staying in the North and CA/WA. I dont want it in my state.
why exactly are you trying to hijack this thread to be about HB2, It was a good bill, McCrory knew it'd end him but he did what was right instead of trying to advance his political career. Hopefully in the next round we can get rid of Cooper.
The case hasn't gone away at all. Mueller is doing exactly what he should be doing which is investigating. Already we know Facebook had Russian ads paid for in rubles and Russians targeted key counties with particular demographics.
"These are a sample of the videos put together by two black video bloggers calling themselves Williams and Kalvin Johnson, whose social media pages investigators say are part of the broad Russian campaign to influence American politics. Across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, they purported to offer “a word of truth” to African-American audiences."
The FBI one under Comey. Mueller took over for that when he got appointed Special Council.
And Wray said the FBI will not be starting up yet another one or continuing the one started by Comey.
So we have the House, the Senate and Mueller's Special Council.
I guess "closed" was a bad use of the word. The FBI one wasn't really closed but transferred to Mueller.
There has been more discussion of those Mueller is investigating - more mention of Preibus and Manafort and those in the W H, before they may lay down the law with the big cheese. There are generally bits of information regarding and is ongoing even if not hearing about always, but there is a lot to be done and will not be happening overnight. I'm just glad for Mueller and for others involved for doing this.
Perhaps those on the right (and I'm on the right) will take the overwhelming evidence of Russian meddling more seriously when you realize Russia isn't there to help us. Yeah, they wanted to get Trump elected, but their goal isn't "MAGA" - it's to weaken and divide this country. It's realpolitik. They'll just as readily promote leftist causes if they can accomplish their objectives this way. For example, organized Russian propaganda has promoted BLM.
The other accusations...Trump being bribed and blackmailed by Russia and Trump paying Russia to hack the DNC server...they need verifiable sources which neither the Senate nor the FBI have been able to obtain.
That's not surprising since we already know from a reliable source (Seymour Hersh) that the DNC server wasn't hacked at all.
