No--they will not become Fox loyalists. They will become socialists.

Everyone’s a Socialist After a Natural Disaster

Ted Cruz’s hypocrisy won’t stop government from helping in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, but Texas will be needing help for a long time.

Well that is not funny.

The sensor on West Fork San Jacinto now indicates FLD. I thought perhaps it meant failed. Instead it says it means flood damaged.

Despite the rain stopping the level on Lake Houston has begun to rise again. There is a lot of water that still must make it's way over the dam.

Keep giving your money to Osteen. Perhaps he can build an extra wing on his mansion.

It is sad that even a disaster of epic proportions turns into partisan bickering. Can we just take a break on the partisanship just for a few days?

I'm absolutely sure you don't "get it", but what you describe that the President failed to do - is a "photo Op" for nothing but a Political Grandstand. You are correct, he didn't do any of that. What he DID do was to talk with First Responders and bring his Cabinet Leaders that were applicable WITH the staff that he is putting in place in the TEXAS-FEMA authority to facilitate the recovery.

That means nothing to you, but it's likely to mean quite a bit to those in the path of the Harvey Destruction.
Texans are perfectly OK with the fact that he didn't "kiss babies" or "talk to seniors" for a Photo Op.
Thanks for your concern, we all appreciate it a lot.

Bleach would be the worst possible anti-microbial for porous surfaces like wood and drywall. It doesn't penetrate.

I didn't see it, I don't watch Drama News .... did CNN try to talk about the Scary Alligators/Crocodiles and her opinion on High Heels??

If so - CNN "reporter" was Lucky-Lucky-Lucky she/he didn't get Punched Out.

HEB - the pride of Texas. Texas Born, Texas Proud. The Largest Privately Owned Grocery Chain in the USA.
They donate 8-10% of their profit to the communities where they have stores. You can always count on them.
Texas Task Force (State public/private/volunteer Disaster Relief) is moving their Kitchens and AMBUS's as needed most urgently. I'm not sure that most are remembering that Texas has disaster/refugee/cleanup going on all the way from North Padre Island to the Louisiana/Texas Border. Millions of people at risk that these wonderful organizations are helping.

The current crisis for Life is in Houston and the surrounding area -- BUT, Coastal Bend areas like Port Aransas, Rockport, Aransas Pass ..... are rubble and they are still doing door to door searches for Life.
