What I find the most amazing is that SWAT was at the guy's hotel door within 4.5 minutes. That doesn't seem possible, but that's what one of the LE people said.
Reportedly he set off the smoke alarms with his shooting so that's how they knew what room to go to.

funny thing is you cling to the word "mass" because legally that means 3 or more and mostly mass murder when counted by the legal term is someone killing their family...

the volume mass murder of strangers fell off a cliff, but you were not going to admit that were you.
I used "mass" because that seems to be the trigger for gun grabbers to start spewing their nonsense.

If they truly were concerned about "murders" they would have this discussion every weekend, when scores of murders happen in Chicago, where guns are banned.

It's common in hunting/camping if you get lost, in that case hurt, to fire 3 rounds one second apart as a distress call.

Point is, if someone has the intentions on killing, they are going to find whatever means possible to meet their objective.
The point is not to make it easy for a bad guy to commit these kinds of tragedies. 58 people dead and over 500 injured in a matter of minutes is insane. No matter what side of the gun argument you are on the casualty and injury count in such a short span of time is unimaginable.

What do they all have in common? That too many people in this world have become disconnected or otherwise intolerant with no regard for life be it because of religious, political or otherwise motives. You are not going to stop this until that changes.
IMO it needs to start at the top.

Just look at the attitude of many people, wondering if the guy is white or middle astern brown hoping it is one or the other. Or saying no sympathy for republican voting country concert victims associating country music with republican leaning voters or no sympathy from a christian or muslim leaning person for a gay victim at the Orlando shooting.

We are so divided by politics and color to the point that deep inside many people are not so sympathetic if it is a political rival of theirs.

People are learning to dehumanize their fellow humans if they aren't on "their side" more and more which leads to this
Seems we are now united politically where it comes to randomly killing people.

Rape, robbery, murder, driving recklessly, vehicular manslaughter, etc. are all ACTIONS perpetrated by an individual. Cars, knives, firearms, etc. are all OBJECTS -- and the overwhelming majority of *adults* use cars, knives, and firearms responsibly and safely.

Which can still be done with a broken arm on a bolt action rifle and really isn't great justification for needing 30 round capacity

Should we be able to purchase missile launchers and bunker busters as long as we are responsible individuals?

It's hilarious how people think this man has mental health issues or snapped. Why because he's an older white guy? No evidence has come out that he was mentally ill but everyone assumes that's the case. Do people all Islamic terrorist mentally ill?

No way a man who paid for a hotel room during a yearly concert, found a way to bring up 13 guns, shot over 50 people. Somehow snapped, this was premeditated just like any other terror attack
