True, but it's got to be tough finding competent people for a job that crappy.
Since NJ taxes are so high, I'm pretty sure that teachers there do as well as they do where I live. You can get into the six figures pretty quickly and have summer off and lots of vacation. It's incredibly competitive to get into the school systems here.
