Quote:
Vice President Mike Pence broke a 50-50 tie on the Senate floor Tuesday evening to repeal a rule that prevents consumers from suing financial institutions — banks and credit card companies, for example.
Quote:
According to Bland, without class-actions, most consumers will not take action. “The argument that individual arbitration is better for consumers is laughable,” he said. “Look at Equifax: 145 million people. Each of them are supposed to separately file an individual arbitration for themselves? How many of them will even be able to find the American Arbitration Association’s website?”
VP just gave a BIG middle finger TO consumers. One more protection for middle class bites the dust.

He didn't give it for the consumers, he gave it to the consumers.

Considering the VP's pedigree and Party did anyone expect anything different? He represents the real Grand Old Party. Of the billionaires, by the billionaires and for the billionaires. Crap like this makes Bannon look like the Great White Hope. All of these people are the heart of the "deplorable" as well as despicable.

These are the GOP's true constituents. They've got the rubes conned into thinking the Republican party is watching out for them but this proves the opposite.

Now you watch how they all flock to this thread to defend the GOP stripping them of recourse against the big financial institutions. They will fall in line like the idiots they are. They are easy pickings for the Republican party.

I disagree with the Senate majority and Pence, but the article is highly misleading. Class action lawsuits are still allowed

While big business is playing world wide three dimensional chess, Pence is playing checkers and Trump is loosing at tic-tac-toe. The only way I can handle this tragedy is to laugh at it.
