Much of this debate has centered around 'White Pride' which in my opinion is, semantically, grounded in white supremacy for reasons well outlined already.
But the sticker in question does not mention White Pride (unless I missed something). It says 'It's OK to be white'.
If that is a politically incorrect statement, the only politically correct alternatives are:
It is not OK to be white.
or
It is not OK to identify as white.
Since the latter would defy any rational person in our society's worldview, the only rational conclusion is that if the sticker's message, 'It's OK to be white' is offensive, then it is not OK to be white.
Well, guess it can be understood in different ways. She took it to mean it's only OK to be white. It's the same way many people see Black Lives Matter as meaning only Black Lives Matter. Here, it is only OK to be white.
Like I said in my post, white pride is almost exclusively brought up as a supremacist concept from day one. White are superior etcetera. The other prides two of them are literally exclusive to the U.S and are ethnic, while the other one is almost entirely used to talk about African American identity. This is why people consider white pride racist and not other prides because white pride is far more about race than other pride are and the history of white pride was about racial supremacy more so than the other prides. This is why their are ethnic pride for all those European groups and they aren’t demonized at all even though it is still white people.

That is actually one of the things that hurt white people. White Pride is mostly used by racists. Black Pride isn't even really about race and more of African American identity and although it has it's racists it isn't the same as white pride which is almost exclusively brought up to talk about white genocide and superiority and not in a casual way. Asian Pride is again more ethnic and doesn't exist outside of America as it is based on Asian American identity. Hispanic pride is just like Black and Asian pride.
My opinion is whites need to ditch White Pride since it has been hijacked and go to ethnic pride. If your Italian, Scottish, Polish, British, German etcetera. That luckily hasn't been taken over by racists.
Also the getting triggered over a sticker thing is stupid. My point is just because of history and how the other pride are more ethnic focused you could seriously make the argument that White pride in reality is racist and Black pride as well as the others isn't as Black Pride is very ethnically attached and Hispanic and Asian pride literally doesn't exist outside of America.
I think all groups should ditch all self-identifying pride except American pride. It's the one thing we have in common and talking about differences hasn't done much for unifying everyone.
