This is not a polite society, its a society held in place by fear of wanton violence. Its not polite because people care about one another its because they are afraid and paranoid of being killed when going about daily life. Its essentially the structure of control you would find on a prison yard. You could make the argument that a oppressive authoritarian society is also polite society. I would rather live in a much ruder society and not have to worry about being shot grocery shopping or sitting in a movie theatre.

Why don't we see a lot of shootings at gun ranges?

I was responding to this claim of yours, would you like to modify it to indicate that you were only referring to a "pure socialist country"?

Nice backpedal.

I say something about socialist countries and then you say your cousin lives in one. When I point out that it's not, you start making excuses.

I'll give you time to get your story straight.

You are the one who introduced the word "purely."

For the sake of future reference, may we have a list of countries you consider purely socialist, partly socialist, and not at all socialist?

When is abortion going to banned again and why should other people be responsible for funding it in any way? This should be a response to any big-gov loving nitwit who thinks guns are responsible for killing people.

Guns are responsible for killing like rape is responsible for abortion.

Yes must believe that or gun ranges would have the county coroner out in the parking lot 24/7.

Everyone at the gun range is armed, yet any kind of shooting is exceptionally rare.

Why aren't people shooting each other at gun ranges every time a person is inconsiderate?
No I don't think gun owners are the most considerate and amiable people on the globe, far from it. I have talked to enough gun store owners and attended enough gun shows to know that lots of men in that culture are very insecure and tend to make up for it by being rude know-it-alls . You want to meet a group of considerate humble people walk into a MMA, Wrestling or Boxing gym. Tough people, not insecure, not paranoid, no chip on their shoulder.

If the powers that be ever told people to give up their guns the lawful would comply. The criminal minded would of course keep their guns and only the thugs would have guns to rob the law abiding citizens.

Guns are responsible for killing like rape is responsible for abortion.
Your analogy is garbage. I assume you think guns are acceptable. Do you feel the same about rape?
