No one is asking you to give up guns. You’re no more of a gun guy than I am. You might own a few pee shooters, but you aren’t about to pop anything. In fact, giving you more guns is a good way to make sure they’ll never get used.
The point is that this notion of “more guns makes us all safer” is baloney. Whether you give up your guns or not is immaterial. But MORE guns doesn’t benefit anyone but gun manufacturers. Just admit that and move on.

1. For some reason despite his record of violence and mental issues the shooter wasn't in the data base.

1. I have a CCW from my county, so I'm sitting in my synagogue with my Glock. A mass shooter come inside and starts to shoot. I'm getting my glock, returning fire, killing the POS.
2. I don't have CCW from my county, because it's a liberal non-issue county in California, no glock, I cannot stop the murderer.
