Men, keep your guards up at work. May be wise to have a digital recorder on you at all times when alone with a female coworker/employee. All it takes is an allegation to destroy your career.

Men need to have a camera installed on their foreheads to record their daily interactions.

Ok, so the woman who is accusing Matt Lauer is not at blame in any of his behavior. BUT the root cause of all of this is much, much deeper than just a man here or there who crossed boundaries. Women as a whole haven't done anything about the root cause itself--which is that women as a whole have a double standard of behavior and beliefs themselves and have allowed the objectification of women to escalate ever since the sexual revolution. There is a definite double standard. Women cluck cluck over Matt Lauer and various other men's jokes or groping but then turn around and pose naked on magazine covers and make money off of their own objectification. News flash: Men wouldn't be able to go to Hooters if there weren't women willing to work there. Men wouldn't be able to indulge in countless porn magazines and internet porn if there weren't women willing to make money off of it. Women are willing to marry men who are known to have been cheaters and abusers because they are going to get taken care of. Many, many women were willing to put up with a comment and grope here or there to make it big in Hollywood.

We haven't heard from these women. We haven't heard any women with the guts to come forward and say, "Yeah, I put up with the comments and gropings because I made money off of it."

??? No. You can't think of any other inappropriate sexual misconduct? Try these:

Discussions about sexual topics.
Discussions about a woman's body.
Brushing up against a woman.
Touching a woman.
Grabbing a woman.
Kissing a woman.

Rape would go beyond corporate misconduct into the realm of a serious crime.

Ever since the 60's, our society has allowed an escalation of sexual acting out and has normalized a lot of it. This is the root cause...unless something is done about this, it's not going to change. Accusing a man here or there is not going to change anything.

They aren't going to fire Matt Laurier for "having a discussion". The rest could indeed be considered rape as defined by the US Military.

[USC Title 10, Subtitle A, Chapter 47X, Section 920, Article 120] defines rape as: “ (a) Rape.— Any person subject to this chapter who commits a sexual act upon another person by: (1) using unlawful force against that other person;
(2) using force causing or likely to cause death or grievous bodily harm to any person;
(3) threatening or placing that other person in fear that any person will be subjected to death, grievous bodily harm, or kidnapping;
(4) first rendering that other person unconscious; or
(5) administering to that other person by force or threat of force, or without the knowledge or consent of that person, a drug, intoxicant, or other similar substance and thereby substantially impairing the ability of that other person to appraise or control conduct;
is guilty of rape and shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.[90]

Couric is a far left wing political activist playing a news reader. She was the most leftist anchor on TV, and that is saying something. Often she participated in far left causes, then pretended to be impartial when she read the teleprompter. She makes Lauer look balanced. Yuck!

I'm shocked some of you think these claims are made up or exaggerated. Just because we've been hearing about a lot of them only means that power and ego can lead to the erosion of morals.

Is that new?
