Deutsche Bank has already been fined over 300 million dollars for laundering Russian mob money. Trump has been selling his condos to Russian oligarchs for years, Trump has borrowed more money from Deutsche Bank than any other financial institution. Trump's major campaign staff have either been indicted or under investigation for collusion with Russians during the election campaign while Obama was still president.
My only question is What took Mueller so long?

If it's criminal and within the statute of limitations, why should being elected to office negate the criminality?

Well you can't sit there and say the Democrats have much morality, either, so I guess that leaves us with nothing.

With few exceptions, there has never been much morality in politics. The two are polar opposites of each other.

It's not a witch hunt. You people will do anything to try to protect someone who has been sued thousands of times and has spent most of his life being a scumbag.

He didn't want to be investigated? Maybe he should investigate the people he hires better. This is all because he tied the knot with Flynn and Manafort.

I've said it many, many times; republicans started the investigations and continue to keep it going. This isn't a partisan issue, you people make it one. If he's got nothing to worry about then he's fine.

However, end of the day... a crime is a crime is a crime.

Since Deutsche is Trump's biggest lender in the US and holds all his accounts, and has had to pay fines for Russian money laundering, it makes perfect sense that those records would be reviewed.

The Trump acolytes wanted a wealthy business person as president (who refuses to release his tax returns, unlike every other president) who has been known to do business with shady global partners. They shouldn't be surprised that there are connections to be examined.

"...Deutsche faces various legal proceedings in the US, including an investigation by the Department of Justice into a Russian money-laundering scheme for which the bank paid about $600m of fines to other regulators in January. It is also facing a probe by the DoJ into whether Deutsche’s traders, and those of other banks, manipulated the prices of US Treasuries...."

Yes, it would because it would be a felony and as such trump would have to be removed. Like it or not, the Congress would be forced to act or pay the price politically, and their jobs are far more important than trump.

It doesn't negate the criminality, the question is if a GOP Congress will impeach him based on these kind of charges and/or a conviction.

Right, because you'd be saying exactly the same thing is this were Hillary.

... AND Trump refuses to disclose his financial information - as EVERY other President in the last 50 years of so has done.
WHY?
What is he afraid of?

I think Mueller is on the trail of what that "something" is.

Hope charges against the Trump mob family will soon be filed!
That's because Mueller and the gang can find NOTHING!

No collusion, no obstruction! Y'all have ran out of cards.

Wrong. We're just annoyed that y'all can't come on over, join the team, and go after the Big Win.

16 years of playing small-ball apologizing to the world and groveling in the dirt is long enough.
