Justice Department rules require that a known crime has been committed before a special prosecutor is assigned. But there is no known crime in this case. It is literally an investigation fishing around for a reason to exist.
Flynn's crime was known from the beginning, and as trumps boy he is included. Then there is the Russian interference in our election, a crime that every intel agency says happened and have proven it.

Whatever they find has to be substantiated with evidence. Unlike Trump, they can't just keep repeating stuff over and over again until it is believed. Trump has been involved in shady deals before and has managed to squeak by until now. We have competent people looking into his business dealings and whatever there is to be found will be found. He won't be able to hide behind partisan politics.

I can think of lots of reasons he might look nervous. Oddly Im not convinced Trump has done anything illegal with the Russians. Not yet. But im 99% sure he has committed lots of other crimes. That is just the reality with wealthy people as involved in real estate like him. Thats why Mueller investigating Trumps financials freaks him out. He KNOWS Mueller will see stuff in there.
I think its entirely possible people around him will be taken down for collusion, and he will be taken down for a ton of crimes committed before taking office. And for obstruction of the Russian investigation.
It'll be interesting if there's a second independent investigation happening at the same time. This has never happened in history. Dark times for the US, even as everything has been getting better (economy, regulations relaxed, energy windfall, xl, no TPP, markets at record highs...etc.)

Clinton was impeached for good reason, then protected by the senate Dems. THAT is why his second term was actually moderate and not bonkshtcrazy like his first term was.

Trumps a con man to be sure when it comes to real estate. No one can convince me otherwise that Trump didn't grease more then a few palms alone his way to the top.

The public generally has little idea if Trump was conspiring with Team Putin or not. There is a lot of stuff that points to it. And Trump might well be in bed with Putin, time will tell.
But it is also clear there was a lot of interaction between Team Trump and Team putin and for some reason one after another they are lying about it and getting themselves in trouble.
People who lie under oath and choosing what they believe is the best option at the time. They are motivated to lie. almost always they are either protecting themselves protecting someone else or obeying strict orders...
