It’s because they know Trump and his cronies are guilty.

I think they should suspend the investigation until they can purge all bias out of the "team". The whole thing stinks to high heaven.

You mean like how Mueller has already done?

They are all focused on destroying this President, if possible. It's a total sham, and it should be shut down.

It's quite obvious that the only place you get your "news" is from CNN and MSNBC. You are completely misinformed. And uninformed.
There you go. Trying to talk reason with facts. Facts don't matter to the liberals or media.

Quid pro status quo. The GOP ends the investigation but leaves a cloud of doubt and the left can mine that ill feeling against Trump. Like what happened with Bill Clinton. The right never took him down but cut deals. If this went through to the end Trump would turn the tables and the left would go down leaving a power vacuum in DC. Not a bad thing but the establishment would suffer even if the people would benefit greatly.
Would forcing Trump to resign be worth sending a trainload of ex POTUS and DC power brokers off to prison? Personally I say yes, seeing Obama and the Clintons and both Bushes and Biden and Sanders in prison orange would make my year.

Lightbulb Rep. Adam Schiff Warns Republicans Are Moving to Shut Down House Russia Probe, Target Mueller

The GOP house is tRump's strongest swamp of followers.

Since the beginning, they've been working overtime to try to cover his treasonous backside.

But it's too big. And his crimes are too severe. Now they're terrified because it's clear that Mueller is closing in, so they crank up their anti-American rhetoric, calling for the investigation to be stifled.

These boys will be remembered in November.

As just more Putin puppets.

This is a tougher poll for me to answer. I actually thought that the GOP would put the good of the country ahead of partisan politics. The investigation is still ongoing. The real question is what will the GOP do, if Trump fires Mueller.

It would be a bombshell. I have to hope they will put the interests of the Country first and respond in kind.

It'll bite them in the ass. People will take to the streets if this investigation gets killed. Especially under the circumstances here where it would be shut down due to pure partisan hackery by Republicans

Reminder for all the Republicans and Trump supporters: this investigation has yielded three indictments and two guilty pleas. The information Mueller has garnerd has given him reason to continue the investigation. Why do you want, so badly to see it end?

No surprise IF Trump is guilty then let the investigations continue.
