Thanks for clarifying your point of view with the bold caps and all the icons. I was a little unclear where you stood before that.

The party of corruption. Both parties are corrupt to the core. Just go back to the 2016 democrat primaries and what the democrats did to Bernie. But go ahead and believe your party is special.

BS.

Bernie, who is not even a Democrat, lost the Democratic primary fair and square. He didn't have the votes.

As to which party is the party of corruption, Republicans have that nailed down, 89 to 1.

In the last fifty years, there have been 89 convictions of those in Republican administrations. Plus, Ford pardoned Nixon and Bush pardoned the Iran/Contra conspirators, effectively completing that coverup.

1 conviction on the Democratic side. The Chief of Staff to the Agriculture Secretary was nailed for not revealing a small speaking fee.

89 to 1.

From the looks of things, Republicans will be adding to that score.

Trump would be a fool to fire Mueller. It would bring down his administration.

The Russians and the Republicans can only run cover for so much.

History will not look kindly on this party if it refuses to examine the actions of the Trump team by suspending an investigation that seeks to bring answers.

What we are seeing here is the slow death of democracy in America, being strangled by a two-bit con man and reality
TV star from Manhattan and supported by millions of Americans. The rightwing just might get their neofascism that they have long craved and suspend the Constitution next.

It would be more difficult for Mr. Trump to fire Mr. Mueller as the only person, at this point, who can fire him is Mr. Rosenstein.

Although Mr. Trump could fire Mr. Rosenstein.

It'd be very Nixonian.

Right now his loyalists are at this point:

Shut down the House and Senate investigations and put all the resources to Mueller.
I'm actually fine with this. House and Senate investigations appear to me to be mostly grandstanding anyway.

Moderator cut: off topicBy the by: even if Mr. Mueller were to be fired, the investigation would continue, just like way back when.

There first has to be a crime, for the call to special council.

I have asked over and over and get told, you'll see when Mueller is done.
What crime prompted there to be a "Special Councilor"?

No one has defined the crime to start an investigation.
