It’s a witch hunt and they’re plenty of witches to burn.

Trump team comes up with another lie to try to fire Mueller

Trump may indeed try to fire Mueller, it will be the biggest mistake of his life.

There is a strong push by Fox News shills, part of GOP to sell the idea that somehow Mueller's investigation is not of highest quality. At the same time there is no proof that evidence used in the court so far has been somehow mismanaged. All the bank transfers, witness statements, other documents used in the case had to meet standards in front of grand jury.

But conservatives dont get that, they are ignorant and getting more scared of potential consequences of the investigation for trump.

The rule of law must prevail.
It'll be interesting (!) to see if Mr. Trump will invoke his Fifth Amendment right against possible self-incrimination during his upcoming interviews.

More interesting scenarios here, including the Nixon scenario:

There is, however, one scenario in which Trump could save himself and others from potential prosecution. It’s what Susan Bloch, a law professor at Georgetown, calls the Nixon scenario: “Trump pardons them [Flynn, Kushner, Manafort, and Donald Trump Jr.] as he is exiting the White House and Trump exits early, allowing Pence to become president, and Pence then pardons Trump. Trump will then have successfully shielded himself and his colleagues from criminal liability.” ...

Well, one indictment was for the sitting National Security Adviser lying to the FBI about discussing sanctions with the Russian Ambassador before he had the authority to do so. So yeah, it had to do with Russia.

Some may say this was not a big deal because other incoming administrations have had discussions with foreign representatives before their boss took office and before they had the authority to represent the United States government in any capacity.

Only in this case, Flynn lied to the FBI about it (if it was no big deal why did he lie?). And also the Trump transition team was specifically told by the administration at the time NOT to discuss the sanctions with the Russians. It's the whole, "one president at time" thing, and the administration at the time specifically told the next one not to interfere on this point.

The current president at the time also told the incoming president not to hire Mike Flynn but he didn't listen in that case either. So here is Obama trying to help Trump for the good of the country, and Trump couldn't wait to say "F-U" to anything Obama did or recommended. How'd that work out for Trump?
