This needs to be directed at retailers imo, they are the ones making Christmas a bigger deal than it should be, not to mention, since when did greedy secular businesses care so much about a Christian holiday, celebrating the birth of Jesus? LOL Usually they go out of their way to not appear to support any one religion over another.

I'm sure flying a black flag would get a pass, though.

Mr. Buchanan ran for president in the republican primaries in 1992 and 1996, and won several states, starting in New Hampshire, which is something of a big deal as far as national elections go. Later he ran under the Reform party. He was America First before Trump came along, and a thorn in the side of establishment republicans. He didn't toe the globalist line, so yes hated by the left and right establishment.

He was on tv every Sunday sparring and debating on the McLaughlin Group when political debate was still smart and cordial. I suppose that would bore everyone now.

Poof. So even that crazy letter isn't representative of this imaginary war on Christmas, lol. Thanks for posting the truth about it.

If it was just meant for discussion, okay. Universities get students from all over the world of many religions so I can understand how they would want to think about not getting too caught up in any one of the religious holidays and making lots of students feel left out. It's not the Nazis or the commies or the State --it's just a reminder to make sure you don't make people of other religions feel left out at this time of year. That's the Christmas spirit anyway--love and tolerance. Yet some use it as an excuse to act paranoid and to hate.

I am firmly against any employer, anywhere, celebrating a religious holiday of any kind.

Close if you wish as your customers are closed.

Every year we get this right-wing nonsense. "War on Christmas" = "we want to force everyone to be Jesusy like us (although we're actually charlatans anyways)."

Here's an idea for you guys:

Say "Merry Christmas" if you want.

Don't say "Merry Christmas" if you don't want.

Stop trying to tell private institutions what to do. They'll figure it out based on their constituents and organizational goals.

Let freedom reign. The end.

WoW! The old War on Christmas. I know I haven't celebrated Christmas for the past 7 years until Trump was President!

This year, I put up a tree and was able to attend those Christmas Church Services that were cancelled for the past 7 years.

MAGA!
