Total B.S. We have had strong storms, and natural climate change since before Man, and before Man's industrialization.

BTW...I remember years ago when they used to say Global Warming instead of climate change. Well supposedly this expert climate scientist you know the ones belonging to the elite know it all group of 97%. Anyways he stated that "snow would be a thing of the past and that children would no longer know the joy of playing in the snow." Well here we are years later and guess what...im still freezing in the winter and shoveling white stuff off my driveway. God I wish some day i could meet up with that imbecile and hit him over the head with a snow shovel!!!

My memory goes back even further, to where the term 'the greenhouse effect' was used. This term was first used by a scientist in the 1820s, the first to recognize that the Earth is a 'closed' atmosphere (hence our oxygen is not flung off into space), and that if certain fuels were burned, the gases emitted would be trapped in the atmosphere, and cause heating much like a greenhouse does. The term was still being used in the early 1960s when I was in grade school.

I think they should have kept the Greenhouse Effect in usage. That way, perhaps even those with a fifth grade education would have some understanding of the issue. However, they now use, I guess, Global Warming, and so the less educated are confused, for they will say, for instance, that we still have cold weather and even snow, and so it can't be true, despite the science extending back to the 1820s (which for those of you in Rio Linda, was before Al Gore was born).

Well done! Pretty simple, more energy gets stored due to warmer temps. When it is released it is stronger and larger.

Oh boy! Christ has certainly ascended the throne with Trump's recent election.
You've got to be kidding with the nonsense that you regurgitated above.

Vinnie! Science is not a liberal conspiracy.

Warmer weather means more plants, more animals, more life.

Why do these wackos want to prevent life?

About tired of these anti-lifers.

Here I am caring about a better world and all they care about is the erosion of sand beneath their beach house

And God bless the 68 million who voted against him. I can't wait for him to run for a second term and have 75 million patriotic Americans vote against him.

Saying that climate change doesn't exist or that it isn't caused by humans doesn't make it any less real, and it doesn't make it go away. We are leaving a terrible world for our children and grandchildren.

I say let him keep playing to the Cult, let him show his true colors as anti-science and anti-democracy. Let him keep trying to force his dogma onto the people of this country. I predict a landslide backlash against him in 2018 and 2020 - because Americans will not abide a dictator.

Trump somehow manages to get worse and worse every day. Climate change is easily the most important issue facing human societies in the 21st century, and this rube of a president is hell bent on slamming the pedal to the metal.

Disgusting. He is the epitome - no, the culmination - of everything wrong with the politics of ignorance and flat meanness.

How anyone could support this administration is absolutely beyond my comprehension.

We are at the mercy of the most anti-science, most incompetent, and most corrupt presidential administration in history. Hopefully, 2018 will witness a sea change of the political landscape and 2020 will see this political garbage in the WH religated to the trash heap of history.
