The numbers: Sales at U.S. retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy posted the biggest increase in July in four months, a sign Americans are still confident in the economy even as headwinds pick up.
Retail sales increased 0.7% last month, the government said Thursday. Economists polled by MarketWatch had forecast a 0.3% increase.

First... the United way is the sponsor of those "facts". They're probably in need of mo money. 14% of the Fl population lives below the poverty line. That's horrible, but is the national average.
Why not use California as an example? they have the highest poverty rate in the country. Your bias oozes out of you. You always seem so angry.
