People just don't want to be forced to say it's normal.
People don't want 5 yr olds in school persecuted for using the wrong name when talking a friend on the playground and then be told that yes, girls can be boys and boys can be girls, and it's totally normal, like it's picking what color shirt to wear that day.
People don't want to be arrested and charged with crimes for using the wrong pronoun of the day the gender binary fluid person (is it non-PC to day person, is that still allowed? LET ME GO CHECK THE LIST.) picks on a whim.
Not sure why that is so difficult to understand. There is absolutely NO NEED for all of this nonsense. None of it.

As for as "outrage machine", NYC and many pro multigender sources have the 31, 34, 64 or other growing list of gender identities. It's not a right wing conspiracy to have an never ending list of different genders
