So, everyone from both parties were beaming, and yet no one got what they wanted. GOP got nothing, except 3 weeks to make Dems happy, and Dems got a promise GOP will make them happy. Am I the only one here who thinks no one is going to be made happy, and we'll be talking another shut-down in a few weeks?

I agree. Unless the GOP comes out with a budget and takes care of the DACA issue the next one will not be 3 days.

They have found, the CR is a good leveraging tool. That is why the democrats in the senate won't agree to a budget. It has been CR after CR after CR since 2007 and Nancy Pelosi took the House and Reid the Senate. Now, the Republicans need a super-majority to right the ship and get back to normalcy.

There is exactly a 0% chance that Schumer will try to shutdown the government over immigration ever again.
