Weren't a LOT of Chinese in "slave Labor" used in building the railway systems out west?

Actually, it is the "American Purchaser"... who go there and buy this stuff, and they tell the companies what the standard is to be, for them to buy it. So... they give the Chinese a low standard, and that is what they produce because that is what they were ASKED to produce, or more so... what the American Importer was motivated to buy.

The American Importers, don't care about the quality, if they can make XXX amount of $$ per case, that is all they care about.. They don't care about the quality or any of that. The actual consumer, goes to the market, and they can only select from what the Purchasing Importers has bought to be marketed.

It's always the people at the top who push the people at the bottom lower.

Now.. One can go on the Internet, and choose "quality" items, and the more that happens, not only will people find the quality, it may well be found in a number of countries, and all of them can ship it to the consumer in a short amount of time.

Eventually, the Chinese will do as the Japanese Did. They will back up of making this crap stuff, because they now have money, and with money, they can start to think about their product reputation, because they no longer have to rely on the purchasing dictates of those who initially went to China to commission products.

Automotive Industry, the quality dropped so terribly in the late 1970's after the Oil Crisis, that by the 1980's we were importing small foreign vehicles in mass volume, and the over sized American cars were like dinosaurs, and companies like Hyundai, Honda and Toyota took off like never before. Then when we thought quality, we became to look at BMW, Mercedes and Honda capitalized on that as well as Toyota, with luxury sedans. It was not until Obama helped the Auto Industry that American Car Sales came back and quality standards elevated.

by the 1990's we were inundated with Goods from every rising country in SE Asia, followed by China which eventually dominated the nations with its exports, and we began to import anything and everything from China. Our executive even went to China and demanded our American Government makes ways to ship all these goods from China, Duty Free. Then they helped China, target industries in American, and squash them by low cost mass production, until now we can't even make the clothes we wear, the shoes on our feet, the tires on our vehicles or the building materials for our homes.
When China got stable and built good cash reserves for itself and set up its own methods of managing its affairs, it discarded the American Executive and Replaced them with Chinese Executives, and they always were keen to know how greedy American Executives are, until China bought them out, and sent them packing.

Many of these executives came back here wasting American time, flipping their lips like they are some experts when the only thing they are experts at is "Destroying America's Industrial System and Its Standards". and convinced other Greedy American to start "selling property and anything else to the Chinese" and whom ever flashes cash.

What we will face is the reality of how over-exaggerated stock rise led us to make foolish choices, blinded by a Tax scheme giving money to the wealthy and increasing our debt... without being wise to realize, The stock market has moved too high, too fast, with no legislation to have supported it, and it is too far above where normal growth would have existed as a carry over from Obama Economic Growth Model.

Trump is bragging as if he did something, when the fact of his blindness of greed, will not allow him to see or consider to see, the reality behind the matters. His ego thinks he's done something, when he's become the stooge, pushing havoc as a distraction, while the money shuffle games is being played out and upon and against America.

He is so blind or complicit, as his aims is of desperation in trying to de-regulate banking, to allow more dark money to flow... because he's selling nothing more than self patronizing drama spins. When Much of American and many around the world, knows that the Trump brand is backed and under-written by Russian Money, and has been for more than a couple of Decades, through every method and manner of Dark Money cycle and wash games.
And.... within the set up game, of which Russian has played using Trump, when Russia and other in their network are poised as they want to act, they will bring down the American Markets with 1000 point stock drops, and all kind of chaos will spread like a wild fire.
The likely timing for this Profit taking will be staged to take place when the Democrats take back part or all of Congress.

That is Russian styled ploy to promote a different phase of political conflict, while at the same time economically devastating American. People will likely think, Trump was doing good, when fact, he is propped up, by the Russian Game, and they will Flip the Game, as they know it will promote political contentions.

The game stage has been set, with the destruction of Diplomacy, Damage to NATO and UN and havoc with our once strongest Allies. Russia, will have inflicted the damage upon America that it has long desired to do.

American people whom are aware, have to be smart enough to see it before it happens, to understand what is happening, and not to become politically unhinged, and it will require American Democrats to move forward with the Democratic Reforms that turn back to building American Diplomacy, and Build and Strengthen NATO and UN and fill our Government Positions, get our Ambassadors back out in the world. While rolling back the madness Trumps Administration has done... and Likely Addressing Taxes, and issue a New Tax Plan, that puts the people first and one that Force American Companies to INVEST in America, if they expect to have tax relief that is beneficial. This it will be necessary for companies to Invest in America. , and if done right it will be structured in Tiers, to impact Multi National Stature Industries, that have strong mandates, that Tax write off, will have many limits with more focus on giving better tax write off for RE-Investments in America and American Workers. And transfer the greater relief to the working class in America.

Former Vice President Al Gore did something he, admittedly, rarely does and defended a recent Trump administration decision to impose tariffs on solar cells and modules.

“I don’t typically defend him,” Gore said during a panel discussion at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

President Donald Trump announced on Monday a 30 percent tariff on imported cells and modules used to make solar panels that would decrease over time. The solar industry largely opposed the move, but admitted it was not a somewhat moderated decision.

“I will say in this case it did not start with him,” Gore said. “This was a trade action brought by private companies. They chose a kind of a midpoint in the range of alternatives.”
