It is extremely odd that he is traveling to these countries like Saudi Arabia, Israel and China instead of the secretary of state. Imagine the reaction from James Baker or Brzezinski if the presidents son in law took trips like this in their place, they would be gone in minutes. He has absolutely no experience in foreign affairs, no secret clearance but here he is leading the charge. It sure gives the appearance of a promo for investors.
Kushner's sister used her brother and Trump to seek investors in China right after the election, the endless search for investors continues. So strange that with interest rates so low they can't get loans the old fashioned way through US banks.
Successful American businessmen can always get US funding in a booming economy, whatever the interest rates.
Kelly is downgrading security clearance for everyone not already cleared due to the recent scandal. That includes Jared Kushner. Why he's not able to get full security clearance is a mystery to me?
1) He's been caught lying by omission about his history of foreign dealing more than once.

It seemed with Trump's long winded, rambling repose (3 minutes 6 seconds) to last week's question posed to him, in which Trump repeated several times that Kushner is doing a great job and Kelly will do the right thing regarding Kushner's security clearance, was Trump's attempt to sound fair and removed from the decision yet trying to guide Kelly against demoting Kushner's security clearance level.
Jared Kushner regularly meets and conducts business with foreign governments, unsupervised, and out of the country.
Is he fully vetted to even be in the White House?

Was any lack of full clearance a result of him failing to claim all those off shore accounts and dealings on his application following the win?
He has an interim clearance because he has not yet been thoroughly reviewed.
