I won't get a check for another few days, but I expect there will be a small increase. However, as far as I can tell, that will not help me much in April 2019, when I have to file my 2018 taxes. From what I see so far, the changes in the Head of Household brackets won't be working in my favor, and my recollection is that they don't use your filing status to figure out withholding. Maybe I'm wrong on that, although in that case, then I may not be seeing any increase in my paycheck.

What up?

I didn't really have a chance to review it with a magnifying glass or anything ~ but it appears my health coverage went UP.

Thanks Trump!
That's on your HR dept. if they can't find you a good plan for less $$$. My part of my insurance premium at my job only went up 61 cents/week (they pay 75%, I pay 25%) starting on March 1. Same exact coverage as we have now.

The tax cut bill is expected to raise the average American's household income by more than $4,000. .
That was Donald Trump, in Davos. What changed?

My household income went up $325 per month. I'll gladly take that.

I received the bi-weekly e-mail from my company with my first pay stub for 2018's wages. My check went up nearly $200! Thanks, Trump!

I'm being honest, not fake news.

Did Trump promise you a raise? I thought so.

Case closed.

Pause for a moment and think. "Obamacare" is purchased by the individual on-line at either the state or federal marketplace. If the poster's paycheck has deductions for insurance, that means his insurance is employer-provided. Not "Obamacare".

Oh look at people going on about their crumbs. Folks...some peoples pay went up...but at a cost of 10,000 in debt. Thats roughly how much the tax plan added for every working person. And only for 7 years.

So...10K in debt. Thats was the cost of your "raise"....that expires.

I'd take it, too. Just bear in mind, that's not happening for many of your fellow Americans.
