That's his short attention span at work. He may have been stressed, but Trump is always stressed, mostly by his own habit and choice.

At his age, that much inner tension is not good for the memory at all. At 71, having senior moments is an everyday thing for a lot of folks, but it only becomes worse when there's a lot going on in a person's mind.

The commemorative pen thing has changed a lot over time. Back in the past, a President would always have to sign many copies of anything that he signed, but not now.

Bush and Obama both had signing ceremonies where a new pen was used for each stroke of a signature, but I always thought that was silly. I think hading out the pens that were all available for use on the desk, even if they weren't used, is a much more dignified way of doing things.

But few stand up and leave the room at random.

No. But it sure is fun to watch him stagger around and forgetting what he's supposed to do next.

And, worst of all, he doesn't really understand most of what he signs. No surprise he forgets to sign.

He's definitely on overload - and he's under a constant microscope - with little relief. No more porn stars or mistresses for him. Gotta be very frustrating.
Cry me a river. He still goes to Mar-a-Lago every weekend to golf, and most of his weekends are 3 days. He only spends about 3 1/2 hours daily in the Oval Office.

While all Presidents' daily routines differ, every president in my lifetime has spent more time in the Oval Office than Trump.

Reagan was criticized for taking so much leisure time daily, but even he put in a solid 8 hours behind the Resolute Desk daily. He may have knocked off promptly at 5:30 every afternoon, but he always arrived no later than 8:30 in the mornings, ready to go.

From the beginning, Trump never showed up until 10:30, and now, it's 11:00 before he walks in.

He's lazy to the bone. If he gets enough sleep, as he always says he does, there's no reason at all why he couldn't start his day at 6:30 or 7:00 a.m. like Bush did for 8 years. And Bush typically knocked off at 6:00 p.m.

Trump calls it a day at 3:30.

Then you didn't see it. This time or in 2017.

At least this time they didn't have to stop him at the door.

Yes instead of asking the POTUS about something of importance, right?
