Reagan was criticized for taking so much leisure time daily, but even he put in a solid 8 hours behind the Resolute Desk daily. He may have knocked off promptly at 5:30 every afternoon, but he always arrived no later than 8:30 in the mornings, ready to go.

From the beginning, Trump never showed up until 10:30, and now, it's 11:00 before he walks in.

He's lazy to the bone. If he gets enough sleep, as he always says he does, there's no reason at all why he couldn't start his day at 6:30 or 7:00 a.m. like Bush did for 8 years. And Bush typically knocked off at 6:00 p.m.

Trump calls it a day at 3:30.
Agree with all this. However, he may be setting an excellent example that working less may be the key to being healthy. Just sayin'.

Hey, I'd be stressed too, if I knew Mueller was investigating me.

Could have been because Hope wasn't there to write down all the bullet points on his note for what he thinks, feels and, oh yeah, last one would be sign the document which is the reason you are there!

And he has been acting rather senile with early onset alzheimer's, but perhaps when others do all your thinking for you, you get lazy about thinking at all.

Or it could be that he only truly cares about being on camera and the center of attention, and as soon as the entertainment portion of the show is over, he bolts.

Or all of the above.

This president is not getting called out on a moments notice. He wanders away.

Nice try though.

It's not a mutually exclusive (either/or) thing. He could be forgetful/senior moments, scatterbrained, stressed, or any number of things. Let's put it this way: he's not the most mentally fit president the country's ever had, but he's probably not the least either (considering the condition of Reagan in his last year).

You're right, of course, in that his behavior at the signing could have been caused by any number of things. However, I see that the president continues to benefit from a very low bar, as you've compared him to someone with severe Alzheimer's disease.

LOL, Trump isn't afraid of anything or anybody.

Because Trump is a superhero - in your mind, not mine - you are going to be that much more disappointed when he is (best case) not re-elected, and (worst case) imprisoned for obstruction. Or you could start thinking of him as he is - a flawed human being like the rest of us.

He's not all that healthy.

Work isn't the key to good health. Good diet, exercise, and a peaceful, curious mind are the keys.
