We will be fine. South Korea's Moon could not be happier with how the meeting of Trump and Kim went and he and his country have a lot more at stake than liberals in America who seem to find fault with every single part of it.

So if you were POTUS what would you do with N. Korea since you seem to think Trump is doing it all wrong?

Got a better plan?

Nothing has changed. The war games we were playing with S. Korea were designed to show force and intimidate N. Korea. Not doing them does not make us less ready. Its a pretty minor concession if it moves the ball forward.
I'm with Bolton and and always have been. I have been calling for nuking North Korea for years. Better to kill a few hundred thousand Koreans than have our country nuked.

And you sound like an armchair warrior at best. Military exercises are extremely important - just like fire drills. Unless you go through the motions, you don't find and correct the problems.

That video is beautifully done because it shows so perfectly how completely biased Fox and the Republican party are, where when Obama did something it was terrible but if Trump does it, they literally play Glory Glory Hallelujah. Insanely biased.

It's not just the politicians. Supporters on both sides viscerally hate the other and just hearing Trump find an opportunity to diss Clinton, say this should have happened five years ago (when Republicans were screaming against us legitimizing North Korea), just keeps that anger raw. I don't think Democrats will ever get over the way Obama was treated or that Republicans elected the birther.
Awww, did itty bitty Barack get his feelings hurt? Maybe if he was more of a man he could have accomplished something...you know, like Trump😉

They've loved war for awhile now.

President Obama, who hoped to sow peace, instead led the nation in war - Los Angeles Times
President Barack Obama's Legacy Is Endless War | Time
WASHINGTON — President Obama came into office seven years ago pledging to end the wars of his predecessor, George W. Bush. On May 6, with eight months left before he vacates the White House, Mr. Obama passed a somber, little-noticed milestone: He has now been at war longer than Mr. Bush, or any other American president.https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/15/u...nd-troops.html

FYI: It's always opposite day.

Singapore agreement will end cold war, South Korea

Everyone was happy when Neville Chamberlain made a deal with Hitler too. Appeasement may make them smile and get them votes, but at the end of the day, it just strengthens Kim and his hand. He is a rock star now, a diplomat, a world player with nukes where he was just a brutal little boy dictator hated by the world back when Trump took over.

Just so I'm clear- WHO GOT WHAT:

North Korea/Kim got world recognition (something NK has been yearning for for decades), and a promise of no more joint US/SK military exercises in South Korea.

Donald Trump got a bunch of press and was able to say he "trusts" Kim.

United States got nothing.

Is that right? If not, what did I miss?
