According to Trump's supporters, the fact that he is a cheat and a liar was "baked into the cake." It's very easy to extend that to extortion, racketeering, intimidating witnesses, etc. It's all baked into the cake and they wouldn't change a thing.

The US has become a nation of dullards and rubes. Belief has become de facto truth- if you believe it, it must be true. If the government really wanted to turn all tyrannical, now would be as good a time as any, because with the complete lack of ability in vetting objective reality in America, there's really no reason the people would question anything. The federal investigators have said, repeatedly, that Trump is not the target. It's TRUMP and his supporters who keep insisting that Trump is the target.
Now I think that he is guilty of very poor judgement in choosing associates. But that's not a crime in itself.
You don't surround yourself completely with criminals if you aren't either, 1. A criminal yourself, or 2. A total moron. While the latter option means he may not be guilty personally, that's hardly a ringing endorsement of leadership. Do Trump supporters really want a leader who can't read people at all? Isn't that kind of important when negotiating on behalf of America's global interests? Beyond that, though, Trump acts guilty, which suggests that he is actively complicit.

Hitlary betrayed this country by selling for personal gain our uranium and giving our secrets out to anyone that wants them. Nothing Trump said or did affected whether or not The Russians had Hitlary's emails, they had them and anyone that wanted them had them as well.
