Apparently, he's quite the storyteller and buys people lunch. Number of reports about how playing golf with him is a good time.
Just that he cheats constantly.
Absolutely no reports of him playing an honest game. Not one.
He rarely plays golf anyplace than his own clubs--
He doesn't "pay" for those lunches--
He owns the club--he writes it off I be to some charity if he thinks he can get away with it
He can be very charismatic
I think we have proof of that
So I guess it depends on how willing people are to disregard what they KNOW about Trump
Supposedly Hitler had same effect on people
Giuliani has definitely pivoted his story, and we are now entering "collusion is not a crime" territory. Trump's team is trying to get ahead of this and change the narrative.
What's important to notice is that, now that Cohen is willing to testify under oath with Mueller that Trump knew of and approved the Trump Tower meeting beforehand, Giuliani is no longer flat out denying the Trump campaign talked and met with Russian officials to receive stolen/hacked information on Clinton.
I think Washington did quite a bit of "wrong" things
He dies from syphillis I believe and had a reputation as a true Lothario--
He also wasn't be best general in the Revolution on our side (that was Benedict Arnold believe it or not--before he was forced to join the British)
But Washington's Farewell Address is prescient so he did have some brains--unlike Trump
Washington did not die of syphilis.
He had a lot of illness in his lifetime, but syphilis was not one of them.
He had malaria at 17 and smallpox when he was 19. Then contracted tuberculosis from his brother while accompanying him on a sea voyage to help cure him of his TB.
The best folks can determine is that Washington died of a strep infection. Either that or the blood letting they did to cure it.
Also, tales of Washington being a philanderer are "nothing but cheap political propaganda, manufactured entirely for the purpose of sowing discord among the revolted colonies."
"Most reliable scholarship on the topic supports the notion that America’s First Couple had a loving and comfortable relationship, one to which George remained faithful."
