Great thread, Daniel Dale fact-checking Trumps lying point by point. This President seems pathologically unable to tell the truth about anything. I don't know how his supporters can stand it, it's mind-boggling.
Three weeks ago, Donald Trump said that the remains of 200 troops had already been returned. That is a lie, North Korea has not turned over any remains. Zero. Another lie by Donald Trump.
And, North Korean officials did not show up today for a scheduled meeting with US officials at the DMZ to discuss the logistics of handing over solider remains.
We all know trump is a chronic liar by now. His cultists don’t care. Now he is on the world stage media making things up and treating our allies like crap. I worry about his one on one meeting with his boss Putin and the possible back room deals they could easily make. The public will never know what is said. It’s a mystery to me why the Republicans are okay with this. Time will tell What Trump gave Putin in this meeting.
