Or just ignorance from folks who don't understand that it isn't some ultimate meritocracy that some believe it is. These folks got a tax break for their corporations and a personal tax break on top of that.

I'll bet most of the public would not recognize most of those CEO's in.public. Just the small number that seek the extra publicity like Bill Gates (Microsoft), Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Tim Cook (Apple) and a few others. Most would be total strangers in public.

Some of the same people adamantly defending the high CEO pay and attacking anyone who questions it, will attack workers in unions that just want to protect what they have already earned. They have attacked striking teachers recently, too. Double standard.

Yeah man..nice story..

So as I was saying...what makes a CEO so much more valuable than they were in 1950 when they got 20 times an average worker’s salary?

Oh GAWWWWWWD...here we go.

I’m well aware that everyone on CD is a multimillionaire...it comes with the username and password.

Now that we’ve gotten that outta the way, can you please come back to Earth? Hell, try the Milky Way galaxy first. We’ll do this in increments so as to help you.
What makes the NBA players make so much more valuable than they were in the 50s?

Can a company fire all union members legally? If not, of course we all should be against the unions. They are monopolies.

Significantly increased revenue from television broadcasting, social media, merchandising and licensing? They aren’t solely playing to a crowd of 10k people anymore.

Obviously you are unaware of how thats changed over time. Used to be that the CEO and employees wages went up by about the same %. but about 50 years ago that started to change. To the point where the top 1% claimed over 80% of the income gains last year.

It’s a legitimate question. If you can stop being racist for a second and answer the question, you will find out the answer to your own question.
