To minimize innocent deaths, I would favor modifying school sprinkler system to have a fire hose style pressure CODE to activate available only in principals office and/or head security guard cell phone trigger via a code. Think if this were possible (pressure not its use below)
I read a post by a investigative reporter who theorized that the shooting in Las Vegas had help from the govt. - and it was meant to shock the nation into calling for stricter gun laws. They went on to say that there is a long range plan to eventually require metal/people detectors in all schools/municipal/public buildings and venues and that that some "very wealthy people" are looking to profit from the build-out and income stream this will provide. Most of this would be outsourced. The govt. gets more control, more data and tracking of the population.
Sounds far fetched on one hand and not so much on the other.
Stop taking two and perhaps you won't see a conspiracy under every rock.
Pass laws that require parents with children under 21 to secure and lock all guns in the house. If a crime is committed with those guns by child, parent is charged with same crime. Send a few of these parents to jail and see if that doesn't stop most of these school shootings.
What you're proposing is silly and unenforceable, and will not prevent shootings. Nobody is going door to door checking every home if their firearms are secure. And now anyone under 21 is a child? smh
We need to harden our schools. Nobody should be able to simply walk on school grounds with long riffles, hand guns, pressure cooker bombs and molotov cocktails, etc...unabated, as we seen many times before.
So what if it looks like a damn prison; as long as our kids are safe. More people care about what a school looks like from the outside (aesthetically) rather than keeping out children safe. WTf, SMH

It doesn't sound far-fetched at all! Betsy DeVos, the Secretary of Education is behind all the shootings. She and her brother Erik Prince, with his old company Blackwater ...now call Academie, want to sell services to schools that will make them a fortune.
Betsy and Erik will supply school security packages to schools for about $500,000 to $2,500,000 a pop, where the supplied SRO makes $12.50 an hour and she and her brother pocket the rest of the loot. This is what her brother did by supplying drivers for military vehicles in Iraq. The drivers at Blackwater made 10 times as much as the army soldiers doing the same thing.
I can see it now at the opening of their new Texas "protected school for K-8 kids", Tanks Alot, where an Army Surplus tank and that $12.50 School Resource Officer stand guard at the entrance. Betsy will give a speech where she declares that "this is the new definition of a safe public school" and will lobby Congress to defund public schools that don't have this "Aura of Protection". Betsy will remark that crappy students go to "crappy unprotected schools"! The nearest school that doesn't have "protection" will suffer a "mass shooting" with the result that Betsy and Erik are well on their way to their next billion!

In my area, the armed security has been there for years. They are everywhere shopping malls, movie theaters etc. except for schools.
Please do not put armed security in schools. The media needs the dead children to sell news and push their anti gun agenda.
